Rock band Evanescence has been brought “back to life” by announcing its first headline tour across Canada in 15 years, including a stop in Vancouver on October 15 at Rogers Arena.

Last year, the brand celebrated the 20th anniversary of its hit debut album, Fallen, which propelled the group to stardom with classic hits like “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal”. In the early 2000s, the band was praised for its break into the mainstream, as it was uncommon for a female voice (lead vocalist Amy Lee) to receive playing time on rock and metal radio stations.

Special guests include post-grunge/metal Halestorm with opener The Warning.
