Ignite! Youth Arts Festival returns to for its 23rd year

Celebrate the budding creativity of Vancouver’s youth with the return of the Ignite! Youth Arts Festival at The Cultch.

The festival lineup includes a plethora of creative youths, including theatre performers, filmmakers, writers, poets, dancers, musicians, visual artists, multidisciplinary artists, and The Cultch mentorship program participants—all between the ages of 13 and 30.

With a variety show format, each night amplifies emerging artists’ voices. Festival highlights include Zero Gravity, featuring standup comics Savannah Erasmus and Ariane Anantaputri with their take on growing up as third-culture kids from an Indigenous perspective; and Super Nova, the finale featuring emerging LGBTQAI2S+ artists in celebration of queer joy.
