“Toy Story” art exhibition will take you down memory lane

    1 of 2 2 of 2

Drawing inspiration from Pixar’s 1995 film, a new group exhibition at the Centre of International Contemporary Art Vancouver called Toy Story offers a unique perspective. The participating artists have reimagined the world of Toy Story, creating an exhibition that is both familiar and refreshingly new.

Like the film, the artwork on display invites visitors to get nostalgic for simplicity and tap into their limitless imagination with work that provides a glimpse into the past. Toys are used as motifs to remind viewers of the unbridled optimism of youth and how it’s shifted with today’s challenges.

You’ll tap into your inner child with this collection that concurrently highlights the purity of childhood alongside deeper cultural themes.
