The Narrow is reopening with new cocktails after forced closure

After being closed for a week thanks to some bureaucratic chaos from the BC Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Branch (tl;dr poor communication that demanded either a $7,000 fine paid or a week-long closure), The Narrow is turning on the red light once again.

While being forced to close for a week is not ideal for any business, the team at The Narrow used the hiatus to renovate their beloved hidden gem and launch a new cocktail menu.

“We couldn’t be happier to be back,” shares David Duprey of the Narrow Group in a statement. “The Narrow Lounge has meant so much to us and we’re thrilled to be able to reopen with a revamped room and new cocktail menu for our amazing community.”

Bar manager Levi DeVos will be serving his new libations, such as the Tsumami (Havana Club 3 Year, pinot grigio, five-spice cordial, pineapple) and the Lavender Gin Fizz #2 (lavender-infused Beefeater, Amaro Montenegro, salted vanilla bean), when The Narrow reopens today (May 3).
