Photos: 2010 Paralympic torch relay lights up downtown Vancouver

Unlike the Olympic torch relay, there weren't a lot of people lining the route and cheering on the torchbearers.

But participants in the 2010 Paralympic torch relay were all smiles on Thursday night (March 11), as they braved the rain to carry the flame in downtown Vancouver.

Running in a continuous loop for 24 hours, the downtown portion of the relay wraps up on Friday (March 12) at 2 p.m.

The 10-day torch relay concludes later that day at the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Winter Games.
