PNE 2024 Summer Nights Concerts includes Brad Paisley and Charlotte Cardin

From legacy acts to mid-career rappers and newly-minted Juno winners, the Pacific National Exhibition has stacked its Summer Night Concerts lineup.

The annual concert series that runs in tandem with PNE Fair—happening in late August and running until Labour Day—has released its lineup of musical acts who will be taking to the Pacific Coliseum this year (as the Ampitheatre is closed for renovations).

Kicking off on August 17, Canadian legend Burton Cummings and the acclaimed Colin James will take the stage. The next day, Canadian pop-soul singer Amanda Marshall—who is currently touring her latest album Heavy Lifting—will perform, joined by special guest Serena Ryder.

Legendary boogie rockers from the ‘70s Bachman-Turner Overdrive—or BTO for those who are old enough to remember them—will also draw a crowd on August 20, along with other iconic rock acts Blondie (August 21) and Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty (August 22).

Taking things down to a more country and roots vibe is Brad Paisley, who will perform on August 23; Toronto-based country rockers Blue Rodeo return to the PNE on August 29.

Later, recent Juno sweeper Charlotte Cardin will take the stage, before the concert series flips right back to its retro roots with ‘70s soul-funk troupe The Commodores, who will be joined by The Pointer Sisters.

Rap and hip-hop stars Flo Rida and Ludacris will perform in late August, followed by the first-ever Punjabi Virsa concert.

As the fair comes to a close, ‘90s pop rockers the Barenaked Ladies are a preview to the I Love the 90’s Tour spot, which will see Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, and All-4-One on the outdoor stage.
