Celebrated actor Graham Greene is coming to Vancouver to participate in SFU's Praxis Centre for Screenwriting program.
Greene, who has starred in films such as Dances with Wolves, Transamerica, Die Hard With a Vengeance, and The Green Mile, will appear at a special public event on SFU's Vancouver campus (515 W. Hastings) on June 25 at 7:30 p.m.
He will talk about his career, and the challenges that First Nations artists face.
Tickets for the Graham Greene event are $5. As seating is limited, RSVP to praxis@sfu.ca with GG RSVP in the subject line.
Greene will be an advisor and actor for a screenplay in the Praxis summer reading workshop (which will run June 24 to 26). Six of the best screenplays that were submitted for two national competitions by Praxis in 2007 are undergoing private readings by 50 professional actors (of which Greene is one).
