It looks like my ad has finally been answered. The first robot designed and to be a companion has been developed by Sega, which plans to market it in Japan by September. EMA, which stands for Eternal, Maiden, Actualization is 38 centimetres tall and walks around with a “seductive” walk.

Although when I watched the video she looked like a harijuku girl struggling with oversized platforms. Not only does she prance around, but when you get close to her she turns on her “love mode” and gives you kisses.

EMA also sings, dances, shakes her groove thing, and hands out business cards, for some reason. EMA will only be available in Japan, but Sega won’t rule out distribution worldwide.
