The results are in, and Bike to Work Week 2008 has proven a huge success, with more than 7,000 comments submitted to the Bike to Work Week Team for the event that happened between May 26 and June 1 this year.

The Georgia Straight netted a respectable fourth place for the category of logging total commutes. The Straight logged 80 in total and tallied 856.1 kilometres commuted, with a carbon offset of 170.6 kilograms.
