Who needs bars? A recent Board Games Are So Gay night at Rhizome Cafe provided music, drinks, and a crowd of funkily dressed, interesting folks.everything you'd want in a bar but without earsplitting volume or sloppy drunks. The sparkling, happy crowd (mostly women, mostly queer) was busy exchanging tips for winning Settlers of Catan, arguing over acceptable words in Scrabble, and going crazy on the Twister mat. The vibe was friendly and high-energy, a perfect opportunity for finding a date or a cool new friend.
