Photo gallery: Silent Scream for Iran in Vancouver

Photos by Mark Hamilton

On June 20, Vancouver Iranians and supporters attended a candle-lit vigil to show their solidarity with the people of Iran.

The event represented the second of 10 planned nights of silent vigils.

Called Silent Scream for Iran, the series of vigils is being held from 9:30 to 10 p.m. at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Many embassies are accepting wounded protesters in Tehran today as Basijj and police are waiting for them in the hospitals (how messed up is that!?). Shocked to hear reports suggesting that Canada's embassy remains closed to them. If true, it's a national embarrassment.
