Peter Frampton injured by texting motorist who rammed his car

If you feel like he does, you're probably not feeling that great.

Peter Frampton tweeted earlier today that he was injured by a motorist who was texting just before she rear-ended him.

"Texting woman driver just ran into back of me while I was stationary in traffic 101 freeway," tweeted the British rocker. "Can u say whiplash? People put the phones down!"

I'm sure there are some haters out there who are thinking, "Hey, after 1977's I'm in You, he deserves a broken back!" But let's not forget that before he became the multiplatinum poster boy for poster boys, Frampton recorded five albums with Steve Marriott in Humble Pie!

And he's a damn good guitarist. Heck, his instrumental album Fingerprints was so fine it made my Top 10 of the Year back in 2006. Check this out if you don't believe me:

Actually....he was in a horrific car accident in the Bahamas in 1978...hopefully this one won't aggravate any of his previous injuries.
Rockin' the Fillmore of course in my Top 5. Pleasantly surprised to hear you think Frampton's a great guitarist ( which he is..) and the praise for Fingerprints ( well deserved)..love that album too.

Now he'll have to develop a new set list for his next gig:

      "(I'm a) Road Runner"
      "Breaking All the Rules"
      "Black Ice"
      "Asleep at the Wheel"
      "You Kill Me"
