Vancouver dance fans have an exciting event to pencil in for next month.

Co.ERASGA has just announced that, in celebration of its 20th anniversary season, it will be presenting livestream performances of Offering on November 28 and 29.

A collection of solo works by choreographer and artistic director Alvin Erasga Tolentino, the program will feature six of the city's top dancers.

According to the info on the Co.ERASGA website, Offering "aspires to honour the living practice of Dance and Dancing, and the challenges of keeping this art-form alive during this extraordinary time of the pandemic crisis and isolation. How do our bodies relate, move, and dance at this critical time of pandemic adversity?

"In this new creation, Tolentino asks each dancer to explore movement as a form of devotion and prayer--allowing the dance to transcend luminous energy... Offering becomes a performance ritual, evoking a spiritual reach for a universal interconnect, awareness, and healing for the world."

Performances take place at New Westminster's Anvil Centre at 3 pm each day, with both shows livestreamed.

Tickets for the livestream are by donation, slide scale from $5 to $30, and you can find them here.
