Toronto’s Fujiwara dance inventions presents a double bill featuring No Exit and Lost and Found at the Firehall Arts Centre (280 East Cordova Street) from January 16 to 19 at 8 p.m.

No Exit is an ensemble piece based on the Jean-Paul Sartre play. In it, three strangers meet in a sitting room with a locked door, resulting in provocations, humour, and pathos. No Exit is choreographed by Denise Fujiwara and performed by Sasha Ivanochko, Miko Sobreira, and Rebecca Hope Terry.

Lost and Found is a solo piece performed by Fujiwara dance inventions artistic director Denise Fujiwara. The piece marries the Japanese dance form Butoh with improvisational style to explore the duality of a divided soul.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online or by calling the Firehall Arts Centre box office at 604-689-0926.
