International troublemaker Seth Rogen banned from midwestern restaurant

Adding to his recent and well-publicized troubles, beleaguered filmmaker-actor Seth Rogen has now been permanently refused service at Tommy Brann's Steakhouse and American Restaurant in Wyoming, MI.

After reading Mr. Rogen’s opinion of the film American Sniper on Twitter last week, restaurant owner Tommy Brann took swift action, changing the roadside LED sign at his 4157 Division Avenue South location to read: “Michael Moore and Seth Rogen are NOT allowed in my place.”

“For 43 years I’ve been a restaurant owner because of the Chris Kyles of this world, and I have the right not to serve the Michael Moores and the Seth Rogens… [something, something]” Brann told the news team at Grand Rapids NBC affiliate WOOD TV. “That guy’s an American hero.”

Military sniper Chris Kyle is the subject of the Oscar-nominated, Clint Eastwood-directed drama, which has been widely praised for its nuanced depiction of U.S. foreign policy.

In his comment on Twitter, Rogen—who has also been denied service by North Korea due to his recent comedy, The Interview—had noted the similarities between American Sniper and Quentin Tarantino's 2009 feature, Inglourious Basterds. Or, as WOOD TV explains, "a Nazi propaganda film."

Brann was equally offended by a Tweet from radical documentarian Michael Moore.

“My uncle killed by sniper in WW2,” wrote Moore. “We were taught snipers were cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren't heroes. And invaders r worse.”

“If Michael Moore comes in here with a party of two, party of 40, I’ll take the 38, but he’s not getting served,” declared Brann.

Asked if he thought that Mr. Moore was in fact two people, Brann elaborated: “Let me put it this way—if Michael Moore comes in here with a party of 58 or 65, then I’ll serve roughly 50 of them either way, unless he’s with Rogen, and then it’s just a flat 20.”

The patriotic job creator then growled, “You might not like how we do math out here in Kent County, but I have family in the military.”

Rogen wasn’t available for comment although TMZ reports that any future visit to Wyoming, Michigan—or, for that matter, Michigan, Wyoming—is conspicuously missing from the actor's public schedule.

A crestfallen Moore, meanwhile, was seen with either 38 or 39 or 115 of his friends in an upscale restaurant in his adopted home of Manhattan.

It wasn't Inglourious Basterds itself Rogen was comparing American Sniper to. It was this: http://youtu.be/ojB5fpoeQ2c

I've been to Brann's Steakhouse. Seth, I'm sorry that you will not be able to indulge in the state's worst food.
