Takeout with Tammy is the Georgia Straight’s new food series, where we invite renowned guests to chat over mouthwatering takeout fare.

Canadian actor Tyler Cotton is known for his role in the fan-favourite show, the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, on Netflix.

The young star plays the socially awkward warlock, Melvin, on the hit series, which recently wrapped up filming season four in Metro Vancouver.

Originally from Cochrane, Alberta, Cotton took some time out of his busy filming schedule to visit the Straight’s office to eat some delicious takeout while chatting about how he got cast on the macabre adaptation of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and recounted his worst food experience.

We try some toothsome desserts like Belgian chocolate pudding and chocolate truffle cake from the Sandbar (102–1535 Johnston Street) on Granville Island, as well as Australia’s staple treat: white chocolate Tim Tams.
