Via Tevere Main Street has an opening date

Get ready to indulge, pizza lovers! The highly anticipated second location of Via Tevere Pizzeria is all set to open its doors in the heart of Mount Pleasant on May 15.

Taking over from its sister restaurant, the plant-based Pizzeria Grano, Via Tevere Main Street promises pies with hand-stretched dough, Italian sauces, and authentic toppings such as San Marzano tomatoes and prosciutto crudo.

And vegan eaters need not worry: Pizzeria Grano isn’t disappearing entirely. Keen eyes will notice that the new Via Tevere menu features some Pizzeria Grano favourites, while the entire menu is still available for pick-up and delivery at the Main Street location.

“After 12 incredible years of Via Tevere on Victoria Drive, we are so excited to finally be launching a second outpost of our beloved pizzeria,” shares co-founder Dom Morra in a statement. “The expansion of Via Tevere has been a long time coming and we wanted to ensure we found the right location to grow the brand. The Main Street community has been very supportive so far and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests into the new space starting this month.”
