Just Announced: Canada’s Drag Race Official 2024 tour

Fasten your seatbelts: drag puns are incoming.

A massive Canadian tour of Canada’s Drag Race icons will be making its way from East to West this February. Three of the finalists are from CDR Season 3—Toronto’s Jada Shada Hall, Ottawa’s Kimmy Couture, and Montreal winner Gisele Lullaby. (Notably, breakout star Miss Fiercelicious is missing—hot off being cast in CTV’s The Traitors Canada.)

They’re joined by whoever the finalists of Canada’s Drag Race Season 4 may be. That season begins next Thursday (November 16), with two local queens finally hoping to bring the crown to Vancouver: The Girlfriend Experience, and Enby 6’s Venus

Show host and judge Brooke Lynn Hytes is set to reprise her TV role as ringleader for the first half of the tour (from Moncton to Windsor), with RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 victor Jaida Essence Hall taking over the reins for the second half.

“Canada, sash-eh your way to buy tickets,” says Hytes in a statement that gets partial credit for at least trying out a new pun. “This lineup of legendary queens are ready to take the stage, showing how true, north, strong and fierce they really are.”

Vancouver, as the last stop of the tour, will see the show roll into town on February 27 at the Orpheum. Tickets go on artist presale on November 13, and general sale on November 17.

The all-ages show will have meet-and-greet passes available, if you want to take photos with the queens before they break a sweat in their performances. And no doubt there’ll be an afterparty somewhere on Davie, where you might even stumble upon the performers making the most of their final night of the tour.
