Vancouver-based technical-denim line Duer and its sister label, Dish, are holding a warehouse sale in Mount Pleasant from Friday to Sunday (September 7 to 9).

Taking place at 33 West 8th Avenue—right next door to 33 Acres Brewing Company—the blowout will offer men’s and women’s denim, shorts, joggers, T-shirts, and outerwear for discounted prices. Nothing will be tagged at more than $50. Cash, credit, and debit are accepted.

Founded in 2013 as Dish & Duer, Duer makes high-performance apparel crafted from proprietary fabrics that are stretchy, quick-drying, and odour-absorbing. The brand was launched by local fashion-industry veteran Gary Lenett, who wanted to create jeans that were suitable for both his commute-by-bike and an office setting.

Duer opened a flagship retail store in Gastown in 2016. It operates a sister brand called Dish, a revamp of the Vancouver-born women’s denim line of the same name that was popular among teens in the early aughts.
