Vancouver’s first Massimo Dutti store opens its doors at Pacific Centre today (May 18).

The 7,432-square-foot space is the latest addition to the shopping centre’s underground wing located directly below the Nordstrom building, which opened to the public last summer. It will offer the Spanish-born label’s in-house womenswear, menswear, footwear, and accessories lines, starting at $24.50.

Massimo’s apparel focuses on clean, modern silhouettes that lean more timeless than trendy. Think of it as Zara’s older, more sophisticated sister (the brand is owned by the same parent company), whose closet is packed with pieces like streamlined button-downs, flowy maxi dresses, straight-cut peacoats, and minimalist watches and jewellery.

The shop’s design blends walnut wood, brass, leather and luxe serpigiante marble elements for a contemporary look that stays true to Massimo’s brand. Shoppers who stop by beginning today will also see campaign images shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino.

Check out some of our picks from the brand’s spring/summer 2016 collection, now available in-store, in the gallery above.
