Neil Young will open up his living room to the world with the Fireside Sessions, a series of live-streamed performances to help people through these trying times.

In a post on his website, Neil Young Archives, the Canadian music legend stated:

Because we are all at home and not many are venturing out, we will try to do a stream from my fireplace with my lovely wife filming.

It will be a down-home production, a few songs, a little time together... we will be soon be announcing the first one right here at NYA in the Times - Contrarian and on the Hearse Theater schedule, as well as social media except Facebook. As we have previously announced, we are dropping Facebook very very soon, so if you rely on FB to contact us, prepare for change.

      See you soon!

      Love NY

Young's wife, actor and environmental activist Daryl Hannah, will act as videographer.

Look for show announcements on his website or Twitter.
