A new Beatles song is being released very soon

It’s being dubbed the “last Beatles song.”

Written and sung by the late John Lennon, and developed by the rest of The Beatles foursome (Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the late George Harrison), “Now And Then” was originally created over four decades ago. And now, freshly worked on by McCartney and Starr, it’s being released to the world on November 2 at 7am PST.

The double A-side couples the new track with the band’s 1962 debut UK single “Love Me Do”, and is matched with original cover artwork by the renowned Ed Ruscha.

There will also be a music video for “Now And Then” released on November 3, and it will certainly be interesting to see how they treat the absence of Lennon and Harrison.

A 12-minute documentary, written and directed by Oliver Murray (My Life as a Rolling Stone), about the making of the song will premiere on The Beatles’ YouTube channel at 12:30pm PST on November 1.

Fans have even more to look forward to, as well, with The Beatles’ 1962-1966 (The Red Album) and 1967-1970 (The Blue Album) 2023 editions, which will be released on November 10. If you’re really champing at the bit, “Now And Then” can be pre-ordered here.
