The Bowen Island real estate came on the market on July 6 asking $499,000.

It sold six days later on July 12 for $490,000.

The property has a 2022 valuation of $337,600, mostly for the land where the hut sits on.

B.C. Assessment numbers indicate that the 0.73-acre lot is worth $314,000.

Meanwhile, the shack is valued at $23,600.

The address offers views of Gambier Island and Howe Sound.
