The 24th annual Vancouver International Fringe Festival is set to hit the stage throughout Granville Island. As B.C.'s largest theatre festival unveils an eclectic mix of offerings, more than 65 different groups perform in over 500 shows in 11 days. Selected shows are chosen through a lottery system on a first-come first-served basis, allowing for a variety of different performances. Kick off the festival with the opening-night gala at the Granville Island Stage on Sept. 3 and get set to enjoy an array of one-act plays, one-person shows, performance art, cabaret, standup comedy, and audience participation.
