To the woman sitting in front of me at the Orpheum theatre for the Eckhart Tolle talk last night, row 22, seat 70, your phone was catching the light above us and flashing in my eye the entire show. Why on earth would you text during any show? But Eckhart Tolle? Why did you even attend? You weren’t the only person I saw texting and taking selfies. It was mind boggling!

The incessant coughing and cell phones were a serious annoyance. It’s funny because his whole point was not to be bothered by it. Oh the irony!

That’s why I didn’t tap her on the shoulder. I wanted to but I just didn’t care enough to. I found it more amusing than anything.
