If you’ve strolled around the Jonathan Rogers Park area recently, you might have spotted a charming red standalone home. At first glance, it may seem like a typical residential space—but a closer look will reveal something much more delicious.

Casa Molina—the first brick-and-mortar restaurant from the team behind the Paella Guys—is currently having its soft opening, inviting guests into its cozy Mount Pleasant dining room to enjoy traditional Spanish flavours. Nibble on olives marinated in an anchovy brine or tuck into carrilleras de res, a slow-cooked beef cheek served with jus and sweet potatoes.

Looking for a larger portion? Casa Molina cooks up traditional Valencian method paellas and fideuas in four offerings; classic Valenciana (chicken and rabbit), mariscos (seafood), arroz negro (squid ink), and vegan.

Casa Molina is located in the former Mangia Cucina space at 2211 Manitoba Street. Reservations are recommended.
