Dine Around British Columbia 2024 takes your taste buds on a provincial tour

    1 of 1 2 of 1

As Vancouverites, we’re no strangers to a feast for all palates—from the fine dining of our Michelin-starred spots like Published to the fresh, coastal tastes at spots such as Sandbar and the panoply of flavours along East Hastings (Mr. Red Cafe, anyone?). So when special menu dining experiences come at a fixed-price deal, you know reservations are being booked.

Enter Dine Around British Columbia: an annual celebration of culinary excellence across the entire province, with separate iterations organized for happy hour, brunch, patios, and dinner. For the 2024 dinner edition, more than 100 restaurants will participate with specially-created fixed menus from January 17 to February 11. Three-course menus range from $25 to $65, with tastes ranging from elevated pub fare to burgers, fresh seafood, and beyond.

Dine Around locations include the Central Okanagan from Kelowna to Penticton; South Okanagan, including cities such as Osoyoos; Northern BC and the Kootenays; Kamloops; Victoria; Central Island; and, of course, Greater Vancouver.

So far the only Greater Vancouver restaurant announced is Commercial Drive’s JamJar Canteen, a Lebanese eatery known for its mouthwatering platters and breakfast plates. The halloumi Benedict is not to be missed.
