If you, like Mariah Carey, love when things are “superfestive,” look no further.

Vancouver is full of spots that have put a whimsical spin on their interiors, all in the name of the good and holy Christmas spirit.

Come for the festive decor, stay for the excellent food, dessert, and drinks.

Every inch of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa feels magical during winter, but the lounge of Bacchus Restaurant is exemplary. Enjoy this sparkly spot alongside a dirty gin martini or gorgeous roasted chicken.

The decor of Caffe La Tana is so great in and of itself that it doesn’t need much, but that doesn’t mean a tasteful holiday wreath can’t add a little cheer. Tip: order everything.

Gastown’s Clough Club has transformed into a true winter drinker’s wonderland with its rendition of the global Miracle pop-up. Expect inventive drinks, comfort food, and lots of cute corners to take pictures of.

A giant Christmas tree in the middle of the bar? Be right there! H Tasting Lounge inside the Westin Bayshore is a sexy spot for a shopping-themed drink—either inside at the lounge or outside in one of the signature Winterlust Domes.

High-end sushi with a side of the holidays—not a hard sell. Go here for a power lunch or a special dinner, salmon aburi for all.

Pass by the decked-out Christmas trees in the lobby of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to get to Notch8, where the festive decor continues with aplomb. Grab a dram of The Glenturret or enjoy afternoon high tea with a Christmas twist. Note: the hotel also has a holiday pop-up bar here called Kringle’s, open only for December.

      Pepino’s Spaghetti House

Everyone’s favourite tipsy mouse has donned a festive ‘fit just for the holidaze. Head to Pepino’s Spaghetti House for decadent and comforting house-made pasta, along with one of the city’s best negronis.
