Physical comedy king Sebastian Maniscalo announces Vancouver tour date

All hail the king of physical comedy. Chicago standup legend Sebastian Maniscalo is coming to Canada next year, bringing his unique brand of nostalgic get-a-load-of-this-guy comedy to venues across the country.

Maniscalo bounds onto the Rogers Arena stage on October 24, 2024, bringing his massive It Ain’t Right tour to an all-ages arena setting. That’s a serious upgrade from last time he was in town, when he headlined the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in May 2022.

The new tour comes after a wildly successful 2023 that saw Manisculo sell out venues across the States—including New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden—and become the highest-grossing comedian in the history of Chicago’s United Center (dang that American spelling).

His first film as a leading man, About My Father, also released this year, with Manisculo starring alongside Robert De Niro in a comedy loosely based on his own relationship with his old-school Italian dad. The comic has also flexed his acting chops in other film roles, including The Irishman, Green Book, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

With a quarter-century of standup experience behind him, Manisculo has put out six comedy specials. The most recent four, spanning 2014’s Aren’t You Embarrassed? to 2022’s Is It Me?, are available on Netflix, bringing his sense of humour to the streaming giant’s broad audience (and no doubt helping him garner widespread appeal).

Tickets are available via artist presale from 10am on November 29, through LiveNation presale on November 30, and on sale to the general public at 10am on December 1 through LiveNation’s website.
