All of the turbo Grouse Grinders might be sad that nature’s stairway to leg-burning-hell might be closed for the season, but the rest of us can revel in the fact that Grouse Mountain’s Christmas festivities are almost upon us—and are only a luxurious gondola ride away.

Grouse’s Peak of Christmas opens on November 24 and features a smattering of festive activities, including taking a photo with the big guy himself at Santa’s Workshop; going for a cruise on the outdoor Skating Pond; wandering through the trees on the twinkling Light Walk; catching a holiday movie at the Theatre in the Sky; and decorating antlers at the Elf Headquarters.

Select dates will also see the classic holiday tradition of Breakfast with Santa, which can be booked for an additional cost.

Sounds like a great reason to put on a cute winter getup and drink some hot choc.
