Iconic British Columbia songstress Nelly Furtado is back with a new single.

“Love Bites” drops on May 22, ahead of her performances at music festivals across the UK, the US, Mexico, and Europe. While Canadians have never forgotten her distinctive sound (or her legend status), she has found a new group of young fans since the “Maneater” intro was used to tease the sexy new tennis film Challengers.

Teasing a new upcoming album, Furtado has been in the studio with potential collaborators like fellow Canadians Charlotte Day Wilson and Shawn Desman. Will we see the resurrection of nostalgic pairings with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake? One can only hope.

“Love Bites” features Swedish pop star Tove Lo and producer SG Lewis. It’s available to presave now.
