Celebrating over a decade together is an accomplishment for any band. However, for local band Queer As Funk, it’s a victory lap of its testament towards the celebration and acceptance of visibly queer folks. Comprised of queer and non-binary members, Queer As Funk is a soul, motown, and funk band focused on a commitment to social justice, all while performing throughout Canada.

Set to celebrate 11 years in the biz, Queer As Funk will be performing a show at Commodore Ballroom along with DJ Slade and the Sojourners on August 2.
