Vancouver concerts in 2024 you should know about

      Sure, Vancouver has been called No Fun City in the past, but there’s hardly a week that passes without a stellar concert happening somewhere in town. Last year brought the masses out in hordes for Shania Twain, Beyonce, and Hozier (among many others), but this year already has a roster ready to rival all that. Check out who’s making concert tour stops in Vancouver in 2024.

      The Trews: January 26 and 27, 2024 @ the Commodore Ballroom

      Nova Scotia rock quartet The Trews, known for “Not Ready to Go”, among others, presents its House of Ill Fame 20th Anniversary Tour.

      The Kills: February 6, 2024 @ the Commodore Ballroom

      English-American rock duo The Kills, made up of American singer Alison “VV” Mosshart and English guitarist Jamie “Hotel” Hince, brings the God Games Tour to Vancouver with guests The Paranoyds.

      DJ Shadow: January 23, 2024 @ the Vogue Theatre

      DJ Shadow—better known to his grandma as Joshua Paul Davis—is an American music producer and hip hop/electronica DJ. After his debut album Endtroducing, he released the genre-hopping Unkle duo album Psyence Fiction, among others. He comes back to Vancouver with the Action Adventure tour.

      City and Colour: February 8, 2024 @ Rogers Arena

      Canadian folk-rocker Dallas Green leads the band named obliquely after himself: Dallas—like the city; Green—like the colour. He is joined by guests Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.

      Feist: February 12 and 13, 2024 @ the Commodore Ballroom

      Canada’s singer-songwriter darling, Feist, closes out the Multitudes Finale Tour in our fair city.

      Silversun Pickups: February 16, 2024 @ the Commodore Ballroom

      The Los Angeles-based shoegaze indie-rockers head north to bathe us in their glow.

      Madonna: February 21, 2024 @ Rogers Arena

      The mother of reinvention herself, the chameleon, the icon: Madonna. She brings The Celebration Tour to Vancouver (finally).

      William Prince: February 24, 2024 @ the Orpheum Theatre

      A folk singer-songwriter hailing from Peguis First Nation in Winnipeg, William Prince brings his brand of soft, melodic country to soothe our souls.

      Arlo Parks: March 7, 2024 @ the Commodore Ballroom

      English singer-songwriter Anaïs Oluwatoyin Estelle Marinho—who we know better as Arlo Parks—burst onto the scene in 2021 with her debut studio album, Collapsed in Sunbeams. Now with a second album behind her (My Soft Machine), she heads to Vancouver with special guest Chloe George.

      Lucki: March 20, 2024 @ the PNE Forum

      Known mononymously as Lucki, the 27-year-old rapper and record producer hailing from Chicago caught airwaves back in 2013 after releasing his debut mixtape, Alternative Trap.

      Noah Kahan: March 26 @ Rogers Arena

      Vermont sad boy Noah Kahan is quickly becoming Vancouver’s darling. He played UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium not that long ago, and is coming back to woo an even bigger crowd in support of the We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour.

      Sampha: April 14, 2024 @ the Vogue Theatre

      English singer-songwriter and producer Sampha is known for his collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Frank Ocean—just to name a few—but he can hold his own as a solo performer just as much.

      Bahamas: April 19, 2024 @ The Centre

      Afie Jurvanen, known by his stage name Bahamas, brings the Bootcut Tour to Vancouver along with special guest Leith Ross, promising an evening of mellowed-out folk tunes.

      San Fermin: May 9, 2024 @ the Biltmore Cabaret

      Brooklyn composer and multi-instrumentalist Ellis Ludwig-Leone is the brain behind San Fermin: a chamber and baroque pop band that also consists of players Allen Tate, Charlene Kaye, Rebekah Durham, John Brandon, Stephen Chen, Tyler McDiarmid, and Michael Hanf.
