There’s a digital graffiti workshop happening in Vancouver

For those who’ve always been interested in creating street art, but don’t want to break the law, there’s now a workshop for that.

Hosted by Graffiti+ at Vancouver’s Tangible Studio, this digital graffiti workshop will get street artist wannabes acquainted with spray paint colours, nozzles, and techniques in a three-hour immersive class—all on screen.

Graffiti+ has been fusing culture and technology to create innovative art in the city for more than 17 years.

Led by professional artist Bee, participants will learn the history of graffiti art before finding their own tag style on a massive digital screen that can be “spraypainted” on.

Unlike the side of a local restaurant or an urban brick wall, this digital format offers a completely blank canvas—if you don’t like the mural you’ve started creating, clear the wall with a click and start anew.

There are only 15 spots available, so would-be Banksies are encouraged to sign up early.
