Vancouver’s smash burger scene is hot, hot, hot—as evidenced by the fact that it’s getting a new addition.

Kapow! Burger, a new smash truck that will be parked outside Electric Bicycle Brewing, is set to sling its first burgs on December 1.

Menu options include a classic cheeseburger and a fried chicken option, along with some house-made specialties and even a peanut butter treat for dogs.

“We’re all about blending quality, taste, and affordability,” says chef Alessandro Vianello, whose culinary background includes Gooseneck Hospitality and Kitchen Table Group, in a statement. He’s joined by owner-operator Jacob Sweetapple, who’s been a staple of Vancouver’s food and drink scene since 2008.

Burger fiends will rejoice in being able to order something from Kapow! to have alongside their Electric Bicycle beer—because there is truly no more iconic duo.
