A new limited series set to debut on Hulu will detail one of BC’s most haunting killings.

Under The Bridge, a Hulu TV series set to premiere on April 17, recounts the chilling true events surrounding the disappearance and murder of Victoria teen, Reena Virk, in 1997.

Virk was 14 years old when she went missing, and was later found to be drowned. A highly publicized court case convicting seven teenage girls of her savage murder followed.

Under The Bridge follows the narrative of late Canadian author Rebecca Godfrey's book of the same name, investigating the internal world of the accused killers.

Oscar-nominated actor Lily Gladstone is set to play Cam Bentland, a detective on the case who is meanwhile grappling with her identity as a queer woman of colour. Riley Keough, known for her role in Daisy Jones & The Six, will play Godfrey herself.
