It’s been days since Vincent Che went missing in North Vancouver.

The 60-year-old man was believed to be in Lynn Valley when he was last seen on April 2 this year.

Che’s loved ones want him back, and they’re worried.

His family has provided North Vancouver RCMP with photos of what he was wearing when he disappeared.

Che’s kin are hoping these personal items will help locate the man.

One is a pair of green running shoes, which police believe could be essential to the search.

“The green runners are especially unique," media relations officer Sgt. Peter DeVries said in a release, “so we want people to focus on that detail.”

Che was also wearing a blue vest, brown checkered shirt, and blue jeans.

“We especially want people to search their back yards, and any buildings on their properties like sheds or workshops,” DeVries said. “It's not unusual for people in these situations to be found in work construction sites or abandoned buildings because they know they need shelter.”

Che’s family has been organizing search parties, according to police.

“We need our dad to come home, we're very worried, and we need all the help we can get,” Che’s son Ricky said in the North Vancouver RCMP media release. “He's really healthy because he hikes a lot, so we know he's strong. But this is a long time to be outside alone.”
