A woman from Metro Vancouver was found dead in the waters of an Okanagan lake this weekend.

At 2:23 p.m. on April 21, emergency medical crews and RCMP responded to a report of a person floating face down just off shore in Okanagan Lake near Gyro Beach.

Today (April 22), Kelowna RCMP released the identity of the individual—29-year-old Caitlin Midori Bradley of Surrey. Investigators are seeking the help of anyone who can assist in establishing a timeline of the events leading up to her death.

Although the investigation into her death is continuing on, thus far, “investigators do not believe criminality was involved”.

The beach had been closed for the investigation but has now been reopened to the public.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
