Fox's Megyn Kelly tears Lou Dobbs and Erick Erickson new assholes

To anyone who thinks we live in a post-feminist paradise of equality, kittens, and rainbows, I present the clip above.

In response to the sexist pearl-clutching of Fox News panelists Lou Dobbs, Erick Erickson, and Juan Williams on May 30—where they decry women for basically ruining the very fabric of American society by daring to work outside their houses—Megyn Kelly invited smug-faced Dobbs and Erickson to have a discussion.

While Kelly is usually just as much of a sexist apologist as these guys, to her credit, she tears them a new asshole.

“What makes you dominant and me submissive?” Kelly asks. “And who died and made you scientist-in-chief?”

Even though she feels it necessary to state she's not a feminist, Kelly defends women as breadwinners and denounces Erickson, who claims that women who don't stay at home are hurting their children.

"Just because you have people who agree with you doesn't mean [what you're saying] isn't offensive," she says in response to Erickson calling working women and their supporters as "emoliberals".

Dobbs continues his sexist bullshit by cutting off Kelly's question at one point and condescendingly calling her, "O Dominant One".

(To which I say: YUCK.) 

"What's unstable about having a working mother? And an nuturing, loving stay-at home father?" she pointedly demands of Erickson, but he can't do anything but fall back on the hoary stereotype that only women can nuture and men should be bringing home money.

After inflaming Kelly, Erickson tries to joke, "I've made your life harder, Lou." 

Seriously, shut your fat sexist trap.

"Look, I realize I'm in the 14th century, Megyn," Erickson says at the end of the "debate"

Yeah, you are. And we're all here in the 21st. I'd invite you to join us, but I don't know that you can even find your ass with two hands.
