Billed as the world’s most unique basketball tournament, Full Court 21 kicks off its five-city Canadian season this weekend in Vancouver’s David Lam Park, and it’s free to watch.

Open to any skill level and gender, the FC21CA is a one-versus-five tournament. Basicallyt, three to seven players take the court for a 15-minute game, with multiple defenders guarding whichever player has possession of the ball. It’s the first player to score a minimum of 21 game points, or whoever has the highest score at the end of the game, who wins. There are no out of bounds, and any missed free-throws result in your score being reset to zero.

Registration is now open. The winners will have an opportunity to head to New York City to play in the FC21 final.
