MEC is having a rare warehouse sale and it’s in the Lower Mainland

Move over, Aritzia—there’s a new warehouse sale ready to turn regular people into shopping fiends like that episode of Friends when Monica shops for a wedding dress.

In a rare move, local outdoor retail giant MEC announced it’s hosting a warehouse sale for nine days in February. Located inside the brand’s former Surrey warehouse (MECca for MECheads, perhaps?), the sale promises steep discounts on everything from backpacks and tents to biking gear and clothing. New products will be added throughout the sale’s tenure, which is sure to cause a serious case of FOMO for many local outdoor enthusiasts.

“Our warehouse sale is a celebration of our commitment to making outdoor adventures accessible to all,” says Sylvia Mcloughlin, MEC’s vice-president of retail and operations. “By offering deep discounts on a wide range of products, we aim to inspire our community to get outside.”

A few notes: all purchases must be made with a credit or debit card, and all items are final sale. So if you bought it, well, you bought it.
