Anyone who says there’s nothing cool going on in Vancouver is honestly just not looking hard enough. Our thriving arts and music scenes might be a little under the surface, but they’re there—and besides, isn’t there something special about the thrill of discovery? About feeling like you’re on the cusp of something?

What’s sure to be one of the best parties of the season is Urban Renewal Project Radio’s 11-year anniversary, taking place on December 2 at Library Square Pub.

Urban Renewal Project, which airs on Vancouver Co-Op Radio, offers an alternative to the hip-hop music that gets regular play on mainstream airwaves.

Hosted by SoLoveAbel and Randy Jernidier, this anniversary show features a stacked lineup of on-the-rise talent, including Adewolf, YellowBunny, and SadBoyDenzel.
