This weekend, catch a show by DJ and producer Pekodjinn, who’s performing his first-ever show in Vancouver as part of Hafla YVR—an Arabic club night event. 

Pekodjinn’s worldly influence from seemingly every corner of the globe sets him apart. Being both Swiss and Tunisian, his music features distinctive Afro-house percussions paired with European hypnotic synths and electronics. His latest single, “Mansit”, dropped at the end of June and features artist Sabry Mosbah, who is also from Tunis. 

No stranger to touring as one of the co-founders of the collectives Ozadya and Nufrika, Pekodjinn is embarking on his first solo jaunt in North America. Vancouver will be the kickoff point of his five-city jaunt.
