Updated: Whistler RCMP searching for missing 47-year-old man last in contact on October 2

      Update: Whistler RCMP, with the help of a police dog, found the body of Marcus Kissner on October 12 near One Duck Lake, B.C. The cause of death was not released.

      A 47-year-old Whistler man has been missing since last Wednesday.

      Marcus Kissner was reported missing to Whistler RCMP around 2 p.m. on October 2.

      Kissner was last heard from at 9 a.m. on October 2 when he was in the Emerald Drive area of Whistler.

      By October 3, Whistler RCMP were unable to locate him, despite using all available resources.

      He is described as a white male who is about 168 centimetres (five-feet, six-inches) and weighs 79 kilograms (175 pounds).

      He was possibly wearing a black baseball cap, a windbreaker, and dark jeans. He may have been also wearing a VIP Limousine jacket.

      He is known to hike the trails above Emerald and One Duck Lake.
