Dino Archie’s Vancity Comedy Extravaganza rescheduled for the spring

Originally scheduled for this most frozen of Januarys, this sixth edition of Dino Archie’s annual Vancity Comedy Extravaganza has been moved to this spring.

The showcase was supposed to take place on January 20 at the Vogue, with performers including TikTok star Aidan DeSousa, Calgary’s Brittany Lyseng, Seattle-based Ari Matti, and Toronto’s Trixx.

Perhaps cognizant of the fact that the entire city has been a frozen hell of car mishaps and asswipes who don’t shovel the sidewalks in front of their homes even though the City makes it abundantly clear that’s their job, Archie tells the Straight that the Vancity Comedy Extravaganza will now take place later this year.

“Due to schedule conflicts, the extravaganza will be pushed to Saturday April 13,” he says. “Bigger show, better weather.”

The show will still take place at the Vogue, with more details to be released in the coming weeks.
