Sign your family up for playful performances exclusively programmed for young audiences at this year’s Vancouver Children’s Festival. This week-long event, which takes place on Granville Island, is the longest-running professional performing arts festival for kids and features multiple performances in music, theatre, dance, storytelling, acrobatics, and puppetry.

Noteworthy performances include 360 Allstar—a BMX, basketball, and breakdancing group—and Nimihitowin, which presents traditional Métis jigging, hooping, and powwow dance.

Ideal for sparking the imagination of young minds, the festival also offers school pricing for potential field trips.
