Northern Lights appear in skies over Vancouver

      Aurora Borealis made another appearance last night over the south coast of B.C.

      The phenomenon otherwise known as the Northern Lights is created when the electrically charged particles from the sun come in contact with gas particles in the Earth's atmosphere.

      Spanish Banks offered some of the best views within Vancouver city limits.

      Great images were also shot in Porteau Cove along Howe Sound, as you can see below.
