Pinty's frozen chicken product recalled due to possible presence of metal pieces

      A frozen chicken product is being recalled in several Canadian provinces, including British Columbia, due to the possible presence of extraneous material.

      The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) stated on February 12 that Pinty’s Delicious Foods, based in Burlington, Ontario, launched a recall for its Buffalo Chicken Flings due to the potential presence of metal pieces in them.

      The affected product is sold in 907 gram packages with UPC 0 69094 62664 0 and date code “Best Before: 2020 MR 04”.

      The product is being recalled in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New Brunswick.
