A charming story of friendship between 107-year-old Madeleine and filmmaker Raquel, the short film combines the pair’s real-life conversation with a mixture of video recording as well as beautiful felt model animation. Madeleine captures the curiosity, tenacity, and will still within the titular character as the two go on a road trip out to sea, offering words of wisdom, witty banter, and an incredible perspective on life.
