Vancouver firefighters extinguish blaze at Bob Likes Thai Food restaurant on West Broadway near Granville

      The smell of smoke still wafted in the air this morning as Vancouver firefighters wrapped up their work after extinguishing yet another blaze.

      This time, it was at the popular Bob Likes Thai Food eatery near the corner of West Broadway and Granville Street.

      Nobody was injured in the fire, but it caused some chaos for transit buses during the morning rush hour.

      That's because West Broadway was shut down in both directions between Fir and Granville streets.

      Firefighters posed for a photo after successfully extinguishing another blaze in the city.

      This fire came less than 24 hours after another significant blaze on Beach Avenue.

      Flames were seen shooting out of the Surfside Apartments on Sunday (December 22) before crews dealt with the problem.

      Nobody was injured in that fire. The cause is under investigation.
